We are very excited to announce that Old Mutual will once again be partnering us on this uplifting journey of South Africa. The date for 2025 will be 13 – 19 September. We have some exciting plans for the route, and we are more inspired to ensure that the Old Mutual go2berg showcases the very best of South Africa and its wonderful people.

Burg Wheelers Cycling Club is proud to present The Brink Karkloof Road Race on Sunday 14th September from La Petite France (better known as the Karkloof Farmer’s Market). With two race distances to choose from; 80km and 40km this allows riders of all ages, fitness and ability to take part and enjoy a Spring morning ride in the beautiful KZN Midlands. This is the third year the event returns to La Petite France, which provides a convenient and delightful venue with good food and coffee on sale as well as an enticing cheese selection (what the farm is known for). The venue allows for sufficient safe parking and offers a relaxed setting post-race for clubs and participants to relax and socialise post race.

The Munga Trans Karoo Gravel Race is a six-day stage race across the heart of the Karoo. For 10 years now, the team at The Munga have been bringing you long, lonely gravel roads in a daunting, non-stop format. But what if you could experience the same isolation, the iconic roads and vistas in a format where you are able to rest and recharge? The Munga TKG follows The Munga route more or less, but in reverse. And this time you get to start each day fresh, rested and ready for the next stage!

7Weekspoort MTB and Trail Run Challenge 2025

The 3rd and final chance for riders to earn points towards the overall KZN XCO series title. This event also crowns the 2025 KZN Champion.

R622 Trails is a two day stage race that will take you on the most unique and beautiful private track, through private farms, forests and wetlands. With views that will make you actually stop and get off your bike, we have some riders that have been with us from the very first edition in 2017 and they are yet to ride the exact same route over the years. The first day is approximately 60km and the second day is approximately 50km. We love single track, like LOVE it!. If we could make the entire race out of pure single track, we would. This our 9th year running and will hopefully will be our best. R622 is best known for its farm-style hospitality, affordability, a race village that gets to know you individually and a weekend of pure fun that keeps riders coming back every year. With a brand new dining shed and bar area being built, this years riders and supporters will be the first to test out the new and improved race village!
