XCOSA Events
The 2025 XCOSA Events MTB Park Rides are designed so anyone can participate - it offers
- vital race training for accomplished XCO athletes; and
- proper XCO exposure to "newbies"!
Modus operandi of the 2025 XCOSA Events MTB Park Rides:
- 2025 XCOSA Events MTB Park Rides take place every 2nd Saturday, starting 11 January 2025
- Rider bookings are done online and close 12h00 on the Friday preceding the Park Ride
- A R100 booking fee is payable per rider for online bookings
- Late bookings are accepted 30 minutes before the start of the Park Ride
- Disposable XCOSA Event timing system number boards are being used, issued on the day of the Park Ride
- An additional R50 late booking fee per rider is payable for late bookings
- All categories start at 08:00 and complete 4 consecutive laps:
lap #1 = warm-up lap; laps #2 & #3 = flat out timed laps; lap #4 = cool down
- Laps #2&3 are formally timed and determine position on Park Ride Log
- Safe, controlled, custom designed and built racetracks with 99% flowing single track
- Spectator friendly lap racing allowing continual support, no out-of-sight-and-wait-for-return
- Fun for the whole family we cater for Olympic champions and fun riders, from below 10 to over 60
- Learn skills & grow confidence while having exhilarating fun
- A and B lines allow riders to pick their own technical demand, however, easier lines equate to more time
