KZN Gravity Double Header Weekend at Cascades combines Downhill (18 July 2026) and Enduro (19 July 2026) into one school holiday racing weekend, merging the postponed June event with the July round. Welcome to the KZN Gravity Old School Double Header Weekend — a full weekend of gravity-fueled action bringing together Downhill and Enduro racing for one massive event at Cascades this July.

Taking place during the school holidays on Saturday 18 July 2026 (DHI) and Sunday 19 July 2026 (EDR), this event combines the postponed June 14th race with the originally scheduled July Enduro round after the stars simply refused to align for the original date. Rather than cancel the vibe, we decided to make it bigger, better, and louder with a full double-header weekend celebrating everything we love about gravity riding.

 

Expect fast racing, proper old-school atmosphere, great trails, good people, and a packed weekend built around the KZN gravity community. Whether you’re chasing podiums, racing with mates, supporting the next generation, or just looking for an unforgettable weekend on the bike, this event is for you.

Riders can enter either event individually, or take on the full Double Header challenge by racing both disciplines across the weekend. Riders entering both events will qualify for a bonus discounted entry fee.

The weekend will include official timing, category racing, spectator access, community vibes, and prize giving. Full schedules, venue information, route maps, rules and regulations, and timing details will be communicated closer to the event date.

All riders are reminded that appropriate safety gear and valid race licensing requirements will apply according to category and discipline regulations. Riders are encouraged to read all event information carefully before completing entries.
