Sani Seeker Postponed – Important Update
Dear Sani Seeker Pioneers,
This is not the news we were hoping to share, but we have made the difficult decision to postpone the inaugural Sani Seeker.
The latest forecast is showing over 130mm of rain and cold this weekend. With these conditions, our trails and single tracks will become extremely muddy, making the course unsafe and, in places, unrideable.
We know how much preparation has gone into this weekend, and we are genuinely disappointed. But we want your first Sani Seeker to be the Glencairn adventure we have all been looking forward to, not a battle against the weather.
Your options:
🚵 Entry rollover
Your entry will automatically roll over to the new dates 5 & 6 December 2026. No action is needed.
🏕️ Still coming to Glencairn?
If you have already made travel arrangements and would still like to come up this weekend, you are welcome to stay at Glencairn free of charge for the weekend. You will just need to sort out your own meals.
Please reply directly to me if you would like to take up the accommodation offer or if you have any questions.
Thank you for your understanding and for backing us as we launch this new adventure. The trails will be waiting for us in December. ❤️
Warm regards,
The Sani Seeker Organising Team
At Sani Seeker, we're all about celebrating mountain biking and the future stars of the sport. Whether you're a junior chasing that top step, a seasoned rider looking for a fun weekend, or a beginner ready to explore breathtaking trails, Glencairn has something for everyone.

Directions to Glencairn Farm
1
From JHB or DBN: Take the N3 towards Howick/Merrivale. If coming from JHB, continue all the way to Howick — do not turn at Nottingham Road.
At Merrivale, take the R617 Howick/Underberg turnoff (signposted Bulwer/Underberg). Follow through Boston and Bulwer.
From Bulwer, continue approximately 40km to Underberg. In Underberg Main Street, at the Shell garage, turn onto the road to Himeville.
Travel 8.3 km, passing through the village of Himeville. Turn left onto the Sani Pass road (2 km after Himeville).
Continue 3.2 km — Glencairn Farm will be on your left.
The cloverleaf layout at Glencairn Farm means zero travel hassle between stages, while the routes climb alongside the Drakensberg, wind through forest trails and flow along pristine mountain rivers.
Always wanted to get into mountain biking but felt intimidated by the distance or cost? This is your moment. Expect accessible routes, incredible scenery, and some of the best value for money you'll find in a mountain bike event.
