On July 26th, the foothills of the mighty Drakensberg mountains, will once again host the Underberg Gran Fondo.
This gravel race, in the shadow of a World Heritage Site, deserves it reputation as one of the most beautiful cycling events in the country, with riders able to choose from three distances.
The 140km flagship event is aimed at the fittest and strongest riders looking to challenge themselves; the shorter 94km route is a popular option amongst entrants who are not confident to take on the full course; and the 45km Tour de Farms provides a perfect introduction for those testing their legs at a gravel event.
Entries for the Underberg Gran Fondo are now open via the MyActive entry portal.
