Experience Durban’s ultimate cycling event at Cycle Sunday on 26 October 2025. Ride along the scenic M4 Motorway from Moses Mabhida Stadium to Portland Drive, Umhlanga Rocks in a safe, traffic-free environment. Perfect for seasoned cyclists, casual riders, and families, this event caters to all ages and skill levels.
Registration:
24 October: Cycle Lab Cornubia – 10:00 to 18:00
25 October: Cycle Lab Cornubia – 09:00 to 18:00
Late Registration: 26 October at on-ramps – R70.00
Route Access:
Full access to the M4 Motorway from Suncoast (Moses Mabhida Lawn) to Portland Drive, uMhlanga Rocks.
Access points: Moses Mabhida Lawn, Portland Drive, and 7 on-ramps along the M4.
Exit points: Any of the 8 off-ramps along the M4.
Park-and-ride locations will be communicated via social media and email.
Water points and activations at all on-ramps and off-ramps.
Event Format
Cycling Time: 4 hours (05:00 – 09:00)
Sweep Vehicle: Departs at 08:30
Full Lap Distance: 36 km – complete as many laps as possible in 4 hours
Shorter Turnaround Options: 11 km, 16 km, and 22 km at selected off-ramps
Support: Water points and activations throughout the route
Post-Ride Activities – Moses Mabhida Lawn (09:00 – 13:00)
Marvel Bike Race course for kids aged 10 years and younger
